Madalina Calen
Madalina is a Senior Economist specializing in community development and transportation economics. Her expertise includes economic impact analysis, cost-benefit analysis, and feasibility studies. She is passionate about using data and engaging communities to drive social and economic change.
Madalina has over a decade of public sector consulting experience, which includes economic analysis for local governments, state agencies, and economic development organizations. Before moving to Washington, she also worked as a Transportation Economist at a consultancy in Glasgow, Scotland. She has a Master of Science in Operational Research from the University of Strathclyde and a Master of Science in Economics from the University of Amsterdam. She earned a Bachelor of Science in International Economics and Business from the Academy of Economic Studies in Romania.
