Julia Tesch
Julia is an interdisciplinary problem-solver. She focuses on policy, strategy, and research, and she is passionate about untangling complex situations to find creative, viable solutions. Julia also draws from several years of experience in community engagement, centered on strategies to enhance equitable outcomes.
Prior to joining BERK in 2019, Julia served as the Northwest Outreach Manager for the National Parks Conservation Association. Julia graduated magna cum laude from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics, a Bachelor of Arts in History, and Interdisciplinary Honors.
Outside BERK
Not born—but raised!—in the Pacific Northwest, Julia is proud to have called Seattle home for all but one year of her life. Julia is deeply food-motivated and spends much of her free time cooking and trying new foods. You may also find her playing piano, planning her next international trip, hiking or backpacking in our beautiful public lands, or simply enjoying a neighborhood walk.
