BERK's Public Health Practice

Since 2010, BERK has been at the forefront of developing state-level policy around foundational public health services. At the heart of the issue lies the question of who is responsible for providing these services - the local health departments, or the state? Working with state health agencies for Colorado, Kansas, Oregon, and Washington, BERK has led statewide studies to analyze the current services provided at the state and local level, the cost of providing these services, and the level of service provided for each jurisdiction.
